IF SEVEN CORNERS, were in L.A. or New York, Pistone's
Italian Inn (6320 Arlington Blvd., 703-533-1885) would be all the
rage. They'd film movies there, with lovely molls camping out in
leather-lined booths while bad guys in sharp suits and two-toned shoes get
tossed across the extravagant salad bar.
Hip kids would flock to the piano lounge to hear current players tickle
the ivories. Tuesday through Saturday nights. They'd drink martinis and
use expressions like "tickle the ivories."
